Teftâzânî’de Burhan ve Burhân-ı Temânu‘ Delili
Bütün peygamberlerin kavimlerini davet ettiği ilk inanç ilkesi olan Allah’ın birliği, son din İslâm’ın da özünü teşkil etmektedir. Müslüman olmanın ilk şartı olan tevhid ilkesinin temellendirilmesi ve savunulması, müslüman düşünür ve âlimlerinin ehemmiyet verdiği bir husustur. Kelâm âlimleri, “Yerde ve göklerde Allah’tan başka ilahlar olsaydı o ikisi fesada uğrardı.” (Enbiyâ 21/22.) âyetinden hareketle burhân-ı temânuʿ delilini ortaya koymuşlardır. Temânuʿ delili, Ehl-i sünnet ve Muʿtezile âlimleri arasında tartışmalara sebep olduğu gibi, Ehl-i sünnet âlimleri arasında da ihtilafa, hatta tekfire kadar varan ithamlara sebep olmuştur. Bu bağlamda en çok eleştirilenlerin başında söz konusu delilin burhânî değil, iknâî bir delil olduğunu savunan Teftâzânî gelmektedir. Biz bu çalışmamızda Teftâzânî’nin burhan ve burhân-ı temânuʿ hakkındaki görüşlerini ele almaya ve burhân-ı temânuʿ burhan mıdır? sorusuna cevap bulmaya çalışacağız. Bu çerçevede öncelikle burhanın ne olduğunun belirlenmesi, konunun anlaşılabilmesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu sebeple ilk olarak Teftâzânî’ye kadar olan süreci belli isimler üzerinden aktarmaya, onların burhana yaklaşımlarını vermeye çalışacağız. Ardından, Teftâzânî’nin burhana bakışını ele alacağız. Burhân-ı temânuʿ meselesini bu bilgiler ışığında değerlendirmeye, bizzat delilin kendisine ve Teftâzânî’ye yöneltilen eleştirilerin haklı olup olmadığını belirlemeye gayret edeceğiz. Temânuʿ delili, bahse konu âyette de işaret edilen irade çatışması üzerine bina edildiğinden ilahlar arasında farz edilen çatışmanın niteliği ve bu konudaki görüş farklılıklarının üzerinde duracağız. Teftâzânî’nin temânuʿ delilini neden iknâî kabul ettiği, bu iddiasında haklı olup olmadığı ve bu iddianın tekfiri gerektirip gerektirmediği gibi sorulara cevap arayacağız.

Burhan and Burhān al-Tamānu‘ in Taftāzānī
The unity of God, which is the first principle of faith to which all prophets invited their people, constitutes the essence of the last religion, Islam. The justification and defence of the principle of tawhid, which is the first condition of being a Muslim, is a matter of great importance for Muslim thinkers and scholars. Scholars of theology have put forward the proof of al-tamānuʿ based on the verse, ‘If there were gods other than Allah in the heavens and the earth, the two would have been destroyed’ (Anbiyā 21/22.). The proof of temānuʿ caused controversy between the scholars of the Ahl al- Sunnah and Muʿtazilites, as well as disagreement among the scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah, and even accusations of takfīr. In this context, one of the most criticised scholars is al-Taftāzānī, who argues that this argument is not a demonstrative but a persuasive argument. In this study, we will try to examine al-Taftāzānī’s views on demonstration and demonstration al-temānuʿ and try to find an answer to the question of whether demonstration al-temānuʿ is demonstration. In this framework, it is important to first determine what demonstration is in order to understand the subject. For this reason, we will first try to convey the process until al-Taftāzānī through certain names and give their approaches to demonstration. Then, we will discuss al-Taftāzānī’s view of demonstration. We will endeavour to evaluate the issue of burhān al-tamānuʿ in the light of this information and to determine whether the criticisms levelled against the proof itself and al-Taftāzānī are justified. Since the argument of temānuʿ is based on the conflict of wills, which is also pointed out in the verse in question, we will emphasise the nature of the presumed conflict between the deities and the differences of opinion on this issue. We will seek answers to questions such as why al-Taftāzānī accepts the argument of temānuʿ as persuasive, whether he is right in this claim, and whether this claim requires takfīr.
