Bu çalışmada Hinduizm’deki tantracı düşüncenin tarihsel sürecini, teolojik fikirlerini ve uygulamalarını incelemiştir. Dinler tarihinin metotlarıyla ele alınan bu tez çalışması giriş, üç ana bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında çalışmada belirlenen ilkeler, başvulan klasik ve modern kaynaklar ve kullanılan kavramlar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Hinduizm’deki tantracılığın kökeni, gelişmesinde rol oynayan unsurlar ve tarihsel süreci ele alınmıştır.
İkinci bölümde tantracılığın Hinduizm’in temel öğretilere yaklaşımı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu çerçevede tanrı, alem, ruh, karma ve kurtuluş konuları karşılaştırma yapılaral incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde tantracılığa has bazı uygulamalar konu edilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde tezde bahsedilen konular ve verilen bilgilere dayanarak tespit ve değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
In this dissertation, the historical process of tantrism, theological thought, and practices in Hinduism were examined. This dissertation which discusses the methods of the History of Religions consists of an introduction, three main sections, and a conclusion. In the introduction, information was given about the principles adopted in the dissertation, the main classic and modern works, and the terms that are used.
In the first chapter roots, factor that play a role in development and historical process of tantrism. In the second chapter, information about tantrism’s approach the main doctrine in Hinduism was given. In this context god, universe, soul, karma and liberation were examined by comparing them. In the third chapter specific practices in tantrism were discussed. In conclusion part, determinations and evolutions were made based on subjects and given information in the dissertation.
