Religion vs. Religion (Cep Boy)
All polytheistic religions believed in God's creativity. However, when the issue of lordship and ownership came up, the number of idols increased. Even men like Nimrod and Pharaoh made no claims of "creativity." They claimed to be "lords/owners of the people." Being lord, meaning possessor, means possessing, not creator. Pharaoh used to say, "I am your supreme lord." (Surah An-Nazi'at, 79:24). In other words, I am your supreme lord, not your creator.
