Muhakkak ki doğru ve sağlam bir imana olan ihtiyacımız bütün ihtiyaçların ve bütün zaruretlerin üstündedir. Çünkü tek olan Allah -Subhânehu ve Teâlâ-’ya halis bir kulluk ve ibadet olmadıkça dünyada ve ahirette ne anne ve baba ne de evlatlar için mutluluk ve nimet vardır. Bugün dünyanın her yerindeki Müslümanların çocuklukları manevi olarak hem bir tür kayıp ve boşluk içindedir hem de entelektüel ve kültürel istilayla karşı karşıyadır. Dolayısıyla Müslümanlar olarak çocuklarımızı Kur’an-ı Kerim ve Peygamber Efendimiz’in sünnetinden alınan imanî esaslar/temeller üzerinde yetiştirmeye şiddetle ihtiyacımız var. Bunlardan ilki, İslam akâid esaslarının ana esası ve aslı (aslu’l-usul) olan Allah’a iman ve ahiret gününe olan inancın derinleşip yerleştirilmesidir ki, böylece varacakları yer ya cennet ya da cehennem olacaktır. Yüce Allah bu hususu şöyle buyuruyor: “Ey iman edenler, kendinizi ve ailenizi yakıtı insanlar ve taşlar olan ateşten koruyun” (Tahrîm, 66/6). Allah’ın bizlere yönelttiği bu çağrı önce kişinin kendisine, sonra da ebeveynlere yöneliktir, zira çocukları hayatlarının tüm aşamalarında yetiştiren ve onlara bakan kişiler onlardır, böylece doğru akidevî/imanî terbiye ebeveynler için şer’i olarak yasal bir zorunluluktur ve bunu yapmayan herkes günah işlemiş olur. Böyle büyük bir meselenin çözümüne binaen bu araştırmamın kapsamı, doğum öncesinden bülûğ dönemine kadar çocuklarda Allah ve Ahiret Günü inancının derinleşerek yerleştirilmesinde ebeveynlerin rolünü ele alarak belirlenmiştir. Çünkü bu konu bir Müslüman’ın hayatında büyük önem taşımaktadır, böylece çocuklar dünya hayatının gözbebeği ve süsü olarak ebeveynleri için dünya ve ahirette mutluluk ve Müslüman toplumunun iyiliğinin bir nedeni olacaktır – Allah’ın izniyle.
Bu sebeple çalışmamız, ebeveynlerin omuzlarına yüklenen çocukların İslam Akidesi/İman terbiyesini özellikle imanın iki ana esası olan Allaha iman ve ahiret gününe iman terbiyesini ele alıp incelemeyi ve bunun çocuğun doğumundan bülûğ çağına kadar imanî şahsiyeti üzerine olan etkisini anlatmayı hedeflemiştir.
Böylece bu çalışma giriş ve iki ana bölüme bölünmüştür, birinci alt bölümde çocuklarda Allaha ve Ahiret Gününe İmanın derinleşip yerleşmesinde Kur’an-ı Kerimin ve Nebevi Sünnetin metodu ve yöntemi ele alındı. İkinci alt bölümde ise çocuklarda Allaha ve Ahiret Gününe İmanın derinleşip yerleşmesinde ebeveynlerin için gerekli olan metod ele alındı. Ve çalışma boyunca Kur’an-ı Kerimin ve Sünnet-i Nebevinin ışığı altında bu iki iman esasının çocuklarda derinleşip yerleşmesi için sorumlu olunan terbevî üsluplar vurgulanmıştır. Bu üsluplardan bazıları: Dua, temsil, diyalog, nasihat ve vaaz üslubuyla terbiyedir. Ayrıca ebeveynler için de tabiatları gereği çocuklara ilk etkili örnek ve model olarak bu büyük mesuliyete ehil oluncaya kadar ön hazırlıklar gerekir. Bu husus, ebeveynlere eski ve yeni eğitimcilerin ve gelişim psikolojisindeki eski ve yeni bilim adamlarının rehberliği ve görüşleri doğrultusunda çocuklarına olumlu etkisi olan açıklayıcı resimler, suretler, resimli ve çizgili ifadeler, televizyon programları ve bunun benzerleri gibi terbevî üsluplar ve eğitim yolları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmalarını gerektirir.
Role Of Parents In Building Islamic Creed/Aqida Of Children: Belief In Allah And The Last Day As An Example
Indeed, our need for the correct creed is over all of the needs, and over all the necessities, because there will be no happiness and blessing in this world and in the Hereafter for the parents and their children except by worship to Allah alone, the Almighty.
Today, the childhood of Muslims around the world is spiritually lost and empty and faces an intellectual and cultural invasion. Therefore, as Muslims, we have an urgent need to raise our children on the foundations of faith drawn from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of our Prophet. The first of these is to deepen and instill the belief in Allah and the Day of Judgment, which is the core of Islamic creed. Thus, their final destination will either be Paradise or Hell. Allah Almighty says: “O you who believe, protect yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is people and stones” (Tahrim, 66:6). This call from Allah is directed first at the individual and then at the parents, as they are the ones responsible for raising and guiding their children throughout their lives. Hence, the correct doctrinal upbringing of children is a legal obligation for parents, and neglecting this responsibility is sinful.
In addressing such an important matter, the scope of my research has been defined to focus on the role of parents in deepening and instilling the belief in Allah and the Day of Judgment in children, from pre-birth to puberty/adolescence. This is due to the significant importance in the life of a Muslim, as children are the delight and adornment of this worldly life for parents, a source of happiness and well-being in both this world and the Hereafter, and a reason for the betterment of the Muslim community – by the will of Allah Almighty.
So, this study aims to identify the parents’ responsibility that they hold in educating their children on the Islamic creed since its basic two pillars are: Believe in Allah and Believe in the last day, and the effect of that on the child’s personality from birth until reaching puberty.
This study is divided into preliminary and two chapters. The first chapter deals with the method of the holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah in deepening and instilling the creed of believe in Allah and the last day in their children. The second chapter outlines the necessary methods parents should adopt in instilling these beliefs in their children.
Throughout the study, it has been highlighted the educational methods that guarantee achieving that in light of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah: from educating by prayer/ duʿa, the example/qudwa (being a role model), dialogue/hiwar, encouragement and deterrence, threatening/ at-targhib ve’t-terhib and providing the desire, and the education by preaching/mawiza. And what is required of parents pre-preparation to be qualified for this great responsibility because they are the first example influencing the child, this requires from them to be aware of everything that might positively influence their child of educational methods and educational means towards the drawings, illustrations, charts, plans, pictures, TV programmes and other means, with the consultation by the educational opinions and growth psychologists in the past and in the recent days.
