Kur’an’a Göre Müşriklerin Ulu’l-Azm Peygamberlerden Talepleri Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kur’an-ı Kerîm’de isimleri zikredilen ulu’l-azm peygamberlerin, tebliğ faaliyetleri sürecinde müşriklerin kendilerinden talep ettikleri istekleri ve bu talepler karşısında sergiledikleri mücadeleyi incelemektir. Bununla birlikte tarihsel süreç içerisinde müşrikleri şirke sürükleyen temel etkenler tespit edilmeye çalışılarak, müşriklerin söz konusu talepleriyle gerçekte neyi amaçladıkları araştırılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler neticesinde müşrikleri ulu’l-azm peygamberlere karşı çıkmaya iten unsurların yalnızca inanç temelli olmadığı; kibir,
gurur, kendini üstün görme, psikolojik direnç, ekonomik çıkarlar ve mevcut sosyal statülerini koruma arzusu gibi çok boyutlu sebeplerle şekillendiği görülmüştür. Müşriklerin bu talepleri, Kur’an ayetleri başta olmak üzere tefsir, siyer ve diğer temel İslami kaynaklar bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Kur’an-ı Kerîm’de üzerinde en fazla durulan konular arasında şirk ve müşrik kavramları merkezi bir yere sahiptir. Zira bu iki kavram, insanlığın yeryüzüne yerleşmesinden itibaren karşılaştığı ve hayatı boyunca farklı şekillerde imtihan edildiği temel meseleler arasında yer almaktadır. Bazı insan toplulukları zamanla yaratıcıyı terk ederek çeşitli varlıkları, güçleri veya değerleri kutsallaştırmış ve böylece şirkin farklı tezahürleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu süreçte insanın kadim düşmanı olan şeytan, şirk düşüncesini besleyen telkinlerle insanı hakikatten uzaklaştırmaya çalışmıştır. Buna karşılık insanlık, yeryüzündeki varoluş serüveninde yalnız bırakılmamış; vahiy ve peygamberler aracılığıyla ilahî rehberlikle desteklenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda vahye tabi olanlar doğru yolu bulmuş,
karşı çıkanlar ise kaynağı beşerî olan inanç ve düşünce sistemlerine yönelmişlerdir.

According to the Qur’an, the Polytheists Demands of The Prophets
The aim of this study is to examine the demands made by polytheists
of the ulū’l-ʿazm prophets mentioned in the Qurʾān during the course
of their prophetic missions, as well as the struggles these prophets undertook
in response to such demands. In addition, by identifying the
fundamental factors that historically led polytheists toward shirk (polytheism),
this study seeks to explore what the polytheists actually intended
through these demands. The findings indicate that the factors
driving polytheists to oppose the ulū’l-ʿazm prophets were not solely belief-
based; rather, they were shaped by multidimensional elements such
as arrogance, pride, a sense of superiority, psychological resistance,
economic interests, and the desire to preserve existing social status.
These demands are analyzed within the framework of Qurʾānic verses,
primarily in conjunction with classical tafsīr works, sīrah literature, and
other fundamental Islamic sources.
Among the issues most frequently emphasized in the Qurʾān, the concepts
of shirk and polytheists occupy a central position. This is because
these two concepts represent fundamental matters with which humanity
has been confronted since its settlement on earth and through which
it has been tested in various ways throughout history. Over time, certain
human communities abandoned the Creator and began to sanctify
various beings, powers, or values, resulting in different manifestations
of shirk. In this process, Satan, the perennial adversary of humankind,
sought to distance human beings from the truth by promoting notions
that fostered polytheistic thought. Nevertheless, humanity was not left
alone in its existential journey on earth; it was supported through divine
revelation and prophets. Accordingly, those who adhered to revelation
attained guidance, whereas those who rejected it turned toward
belief systems and intellectual frameworks of human origin.
