In our time, the idea that the smear and devaluation campaigns against the Prophet Muhammad should be handled within the framework of freedom of thought and that obstructing the press or the organizations that publish these publications is unacceptable is accepted by the majority of Westerners.
Considering the fundamental principles of religion and the virtues humanity must possess, the inviolability of the realm of faith and values becomes more crucial than ever. Otherwise, such an approach remains a problem today, just as it was during the time of the Prophet Muhammad. It is clear that attacks on Islam and Muslims, particularly in the cultural sphere, centered on the Prophet of Islam, will not be limited to these areas. As a result of such an approach, the establishment of sustainable peace, both individually and universally, remains merely a rhetoric.
This study aims to raise healthy awareness on this issue by highlighting the common threads between the nature of the opposition to the Prophet during the revelation process and the insults directed at him, which are constantly being discussed today, especially by the Western press. If the true nature of a problem cannot be fully understood, finding a solution is impossible.
