Yüce Allah, insanlara yaşamını doğru istikamette ilerletebilmesi için gerekli bilgi ve beceriler bahşetmiş, çeşitli imkanlar vererek yeryüzüne halife kılmıştır. Bu ilâhî lütuflar, insanın hem kendini tanımasına hem de Allah’a karşı sorumluluklarını idrak etmesine zemin hazırlamıştır. Bu sebeple insanda yaratıcısı ile bağ kurma, inanma ve din duygusu fıtridir. Bununla birlikte insan fıtrata uygun davranışlar sergilediğinde kendisi ve çevresiyle barışık, mutlu bir hayat sürdürecektir. Yeryüzüne gönderdiği insanın fıtratıyla gelen tüm özelliklerini en iyi bilen Yüce Allah, insanı bu anlam arayışında yalnız bırakmamış, kullarının nasıl bir yaşam sürmesi gerektiğini, doğru yolda nasıl ilerleyeceklerini ve toplumsal hayatın düzenini nasıl idame ettireceklerini Kur’an rehberliğinde açıkça bildirmiştir. Kur’an insan yaşamının her yönüyle ilgilenmiş ve yol gösterici olmuştur. Dolayısıyla tüm insanlığa rehber olan Kur’an, çocuklardan ayrı düşünülemez. Bu nedenle çocuk kalplerin Kur’an ile küçük yaştan itibaren tanıştırılması ve onların yaş seviyesine uygun tefsir çalışmalarının yapılması mühim bir gerekliliktir. Tefsir içerikli çocuk kitapları çocuk yaşta Kur’an’ın mesajını çocuklara vermek ve onları Kur’an ahlâkı ile yetiştirmek için destekleyici materyaller arasında yer almaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmamızda temel tefsir kaynaklarına başvurarak kısa sûrelerin muhtevası ortaya koyulmuş, belirlediğimiz örneklem çerçevesinde tefsir içerikli çocuk kitapları hem pedagojik açıdan hem de tefsir ilmi müvâcehesinden tetkik edilmiştir. Çalışmamızda nitel araştırma deseninden doküman ve içerik analizi kullanılmış olup ortaya çıkan bulgular çerçevesinde çocuklara yönelik tefsir çalışmasının imkânı tartışılmış ve alana dair kaleme alınmış eserlerin beklentiyi karşılayıp karşılamadığı interdisipliner olarak incelenmiştir. Kitabın son bölümü, tefsir temelli etkinliklerle çocuklar için tefsir çalışmalarını somutlaştırmayı ve uygulamaya dönük olarak kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, İslâmî oyuncakların, materyal kullanımının ve etkinlik temelli yaklaşımların tefsir eğitimindeki potansiyeli ele alınmış; eğitim ortamlarında bu tür materyallerin değervii lendirilmesi ve uygulanan disiplinler arası etkinliklere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı sûrelerin çocuklar için tefsirine yönelik ders planı hazırlanarak çalışmaların uygulanabilirliği, öğrenme çıktıları ve süreç bileşenleri değerlendirilmiştir.

Allah Almighty has granted people the necessary knowledge and skills
to advance their lives in the right direction and has made them vicegerents
on earth by giving them various opportunities. These divine
blessings prepare the ground for people to both know themselves and
realize their responsibilities towards Allah. For this reason, it is innate
for people to establish a connection with their creator, to have faith and
to have a sense of religion. However, when people exhibit behaviors
that are in accordance with their nature, they will live a happy life in
peace with themselves and their surroundings. Knowing all the innate
characteristics of man that He sent to the earth, Almighty Allah did not
leave man alone in this search for meaning and clearly informed his
servants about how they should live, how they should progress on the
right path and how they should maintain the order of social life under
the guidance of the Qur’ān. The Qur’ān has been interested in every aspect
of human life and has been a guide. Therefore, the Qur’ān, which is
a guide for all humanity, cannot be considered separate from children.
For this purpose, it is an important necessity for children’s hearts to
be introduced to the Qur’ān from a young age and for interpretation
studies to be carried out in accordance with their age level. Children’s
books with tafsīr content are among the supporting materials for conveying
the message of the Qur’ān to children at an early age and raising
them with the morality of the Qur’ān. In line with this purpose, in our
thesis study, the content of short surāhs has been revealed by referring
to basic tafsīr sources, and within the framework of the sample we determined,
children’s books with tafsīr content have been examined both
from a pedagogical perspective and from a tafsīr science perspective. In
our study, a document analysis from the qualitative research design was
used, and within the framework of the findings, the possibility of tafsīr
studies for children and whether the works written in the field meet
the expectations were addressed interdisciplinary. The final section of
the book aims to embody and practice the study of tafsir for children

through tafsir-based activities. In this context, the potential of Islamic
toys, material use, and activity-based approaches in tafsir education is
discussed, and the evaluation of such materials in educational settings
and the implementation of interdisciplinary activities are included. Furthermore,
a lesson plan for the tafsir of certain surahs for children is
prepared, and the applicability of the studies, learning outcomes, and
process components are evaluated.
