Faith in the Hereafter in Islamic Creedand Kalam -Topics Related to Sam’iyyat, Resurrection, and the Conditions of the Hereafter-
In this humble study, topics such as “faith in the Hereafter” and “conditions of the Hereafter”, which are elaborated in great detail in the Qur’an through various terms and narrative elements, have been examined. Our study begins with an “Introduction” section titled “The Place and Importance of the Principle of Faith in the Hereafter Among the Fundamentals of Islamic Beliefs.” In this section, we have shared a “bibliographic introduction and reference list” under the headings “Classical Works on the Subject” and “Scientific Studies Conducted to Date.” This list has been compiled to guide and benefit young researchers, especially, in their further readings and studies on the Hereafter and its conditions. Following the “Introduction”, our study aims to examine in detail the various stages of this eternal life belonging to the realm of the unseen (“ghayb”) based on the information found in the religious texts (nas) and other sources. It is structured into four main sections: “Death and Its Aftermath”, “The Day of Judgment and Its Aftermath”, “Resurrection and Its Aftermath”, and “Reckoning and Its Aftermath”. The study concludes with a “Discussion and Conclusion” section, where we highlight key points and make significant observations on the topic. Finally, the book is completed with a comprehensive and detailed “Bibliography”, listing the sources we have utilized and referenced in the process of writing this work.
